How to host it
- Print one copy per player (or per team) so everyone can mark up their own floor plan.
- Keep the last page hidden — it holds the solution and is marked SPOILERS. Fold it back or remove it until the reveal.
- Set a timer for a friendly race, or let solvers work at their own pace.
- Do the big reveal together: have everyone name their suspect before you unfold the solution page.
How the puzzle works
Every person — the suspects and the victim — stands in a different row and a different column of the floor plan, exactly like a sudoku. Each suspect's clue narrows down where they were ("on the carpet", "beside a table", "in front of a window", "in the Kitchen"). Once everyone is placed, the murderer is the suspect left alone in the same room as the victim.
